Providing more than a room; Clovelly House provides a life for it's residents.

Don't just stay, live life at Clovelly!

Established in 1984, Clovelly House is a long-standing provider of quality care to the Fenland community, providing an unwavering commitment to supporting the vulnerable elderly since 1984.

The care home was founded by Ken and June George; with the aim of providing a home away from home for the vulnerable elderly, they chose Clovelly House for its superb location, close to March’s town centre, lovely extensive gardens & classic Edwardian features within the house, they knew this house could become a loving home for all to enjoy.

In 1993 Ken & June’s son Malcolm joined the management team at the home and he has continued to promote the values and vision of his parents through into the 21st Century.

    Amazing, caring and considerate staff

My 80-year-old mother has advanced dementia, she has lived in Clovelly House for over 3-years and is very well cared for. The staff are amazing people, caring and considerate. There are plenty of activities for her, and she is given lots of support and encouragement to enjoy the various activities. I am very happy with the care my mother receives at Clovelly House.

Nothing is too much trouble for Clovelly House

Our mum has been in Clovelly House almost a year now as she was no longer able to care for herself safely at home. The management and staff who my sister and I have dealt with, have been exceptional, nothing seems too much trouble for them. There's always someone on the end of the phone to answer any questions we may have. You are also kept up to date with emails and photos to keep you informed. We certainly recommend.

Cosy, pleasant and the staff go above and beyond

I feel reassured that my mother is safe at Clovelly. The decor is pleasant and cosy and the food excellent. The staff are professional and friendly and I am kept informed of my mum's condition and was pleased to receive photos, handicrafts and videos sent to me when Covid restrictions prevented visits. The staff go over and above to provide social events for friends, relatives and residents.

  • Clovelly showed what caring was

Mother was suffering from dementia she needed more than I could give. I was looking for small, friendly, clean, good food, caring/loving, experienced staff and activities to help with mental and physical health. Mother enjoyed 18 months at Clovelly before she passed away in January 2023. Elvis visited regularly as do many other entertainers, handicraft sessions, petting animals and all manner of things to bring enjoyment to the VIP's.

Clovelly House was her home, VIP's and staff family. Every visit she asked if she could stay and the carers would say of course you can. She did. All I will add is the words the family used at her service "Clovelly showed what caring was and that living with old age and disabilities could still be fun. At Clovelly House she had all the comforts a family can provide plus respect and dignity" - Ken Elener

  • First class facilities can be found here.

Residents are treated in a friendly way to show that all staff respect there own dignity. The place is always clean and tidy and the food smells really inviting. There are plenty of activities and outings that the residents can take part in at no extra costs. I'm always made welcome and have the chance to join in some of the activities. We are free to take Mum out at any time, but know she cannot leave of her own accord as all doors are kept locked. All in all, I cant find any fault with the home.  - Kevin S

  • I cannot praise it enough

My mother is a resident at Clovelly House since March and I cannot praise it enough. The staff always welcome you with a smile and chat. The food is fresh and home cooked daily and every dietary requirement is met. The actual house is clean and always smells of home baking. All medical issues are met. The activities/outings/entertainment always puts a smile on her face. After a recent overnight stay in hospital she just wanted to go home, home being Clovelly House. As her daughter I can honestly say she loves it there and I and the rest of our family are always welcomed and are so happy that she is happy. Thank you Clovelly and all your staff. - Sally B

  • The care is exceptional

Mum has been a resident of Clovelly House since early 2022. The care is exceptional; it feels as if the carers and all staff have made an effort to really know Mum, and her care is very much personal to her. She has choices with regard to how much she wishes to socialise, and she is given her own space to be private. The varied entertainment programme is excellent and days out are an option and well planned. Mum's room is cosy and recently redecorated and looks out on lovely gardens. As a visitor, I have always felt welcomed by the team. I would happily recommend Clovelly House to any family looking for residential care for their loved ones. - Elizabeth H

  • Comfortable and happy

I work as a physiotherapist in the community and I see care homes every single day. When I visit my Nan at Clovelly House, I feel comfortable and happy that my Nan has such an amazing home and she has become so much more animated and engaged since having such opportunities and seeing so many lovely faces. I am hugely grateful for everyone at Clovelly.
